Bree - If a heartbeat was heard then you are pregnant. You need to call your GYNO up again & tell him about the heartbeat & let him know in no ncertain terms that urine & blood pregnancy tests can be wrong. If he still refuses to see you let him know, if the pregnancy proves to be correct (which it probably will), that you are going to sue his arse & let everyone you know, including the papers know, that hes a quack & an unrelaible & uncaring doctor.This will get his attention. Sometimes you do have to be a bit forceful. If he still refuses, write a letter to the medical burea or hospital & tell them everything thats happened. Meanwhile see your own doctor & ask for a scan on your tummy. Good luck!! :o)

My last period was the 1st of July, I took a HPT and it was negative, so I had a blood test done and it was also negative. I still have not yet had my period. I have an appointment to see my gyno on Monday. What else could be causing this, if I am not pregnant?

Trina- my situation is exactly the same. My last period was July 1st. I have had many pregnancy symptoms but many hpt’s came out negative. I had a blood test last week, and will get the results tomorrow. The dr did a manual pelvic exam and she said that my uterus was enlarged, but my bladder was not full enough to see the u/s. I have decided not to stress anymore. I act as though I am pregnant until it is determined that I am not.

lets see. for about 3 weeks i have been having mutiple PG symptoms sore nipples headachs back achs tired ect. i am about 5 days late for my period. i took 3 HPT’s and all of them came out negitive.. can i still be PG? what should i do?

well i have had a few negative hpts but havent went for a blood test yet but someone commented on how i look like i have a baby belly and accused me of not really taking them…so im starting to believe that maybe sometimes for some reason they just dont seem to work

I had 3negative blood tests and urine tests,which was done in october last year.in november i found out i was a month pregnant after doing another blood and urine test.my advice is just wait it out,and do another test.i’m in the same boat again after we lost our baby,and praying that we are pregnant.i don’t know what else there symptoms could be,because i feel pregnant.

It is such a relief to find this forum. I have felt like I’m all alone with my thoughts, and then I find all you wonderful ladies in a similiar situation. So, I was supposed to start my period Jan. 15th, but it hasn’t started yet. I have had all the symptoms of being PG, especially my suddenly protruding belly and headaches. I took a test a few days ago that was neg…you’ve heard it before. The thing that makes my situation a little different is that I am still nursing my 13month old son. Last month was my first period since he was born. Does this mean my periods are just going to be late and make me feel preg for a while? Please let me know if you have any ideas b/c I feel like I’m going crazy! Thanx!

ok this might be diffucult question to answer, ok me and my boyfriend are try to have a baby but were haveing some problems knowin if i’m really pregnant. on dec 12th i had a period ( well almost a period) spoting actully for only a day, agian on dec 30th two weeks apart more spoting, (but i only get the spoting after me and my boyfriend had sex on those days) so i for sure thought i was pg i had all the sign tired, mood swings, night sickness. then went to the doctor for a blood test it came back negitive!!!!!! no period in january..then feb 15th i get a period but for only 2 days instead of the normal 5 days does that mean that i really am pg!!!!!

me and my boyfriend had sex last on jan 11th and i have a small period btween then but i havent had one since then and i am a week and 5 days late and i have taken 5 preg tests all came out neg and i cant into the doctors for a month for a blood test. am i pregnant? what should i do

I don’t have an answer for you, but I am in the same boat! I am 2 weeks late in my period. My urine tests (4 times) and blodd test (1 time) has been negative. I have all the symptoms of being pregnant. If I am pregnant, conception occured on Feb. 12th. I had spotting on Feb 17th. It lasted for a few days.
I will be seeing my Dr again on Mon. Mar 10th.

Clindholm. thank you for your candor about this situation. I do however know of several times that the blood test has been negative and yet people still been preg. I know for sure that it can happen because i have a little sister and for 4 months m y mom had neg urine and blood tests. it wasn’t until they did a ful pelvic that they belived her. and i have 2 friends that were almost the same with a couple of there kids. So please before you can be so cold make sure you know your facts. ohh by the way i talked to my dr ans she said that it is quite possible to have a neg and still be preg.

I don’t know. It seems every woman here has thevsame problem yet so different! I have had numerous faint to dark thin lined positives yet at the clinic the blood test came back negative! I am breaking out bad back pain and side ain with sciatica some nausea headaches etc… What do I do I am throwing my hands up!
